How big is the baby this week: Is almost 3 inches long (size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly and ounce.
How far along: 13 weeks
The Bump: Is coming maybe
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.
Stretch Marks: I've noticed one or two... maybe three
Best moment of the week: going to the doctor and hearing the heart beat. 
Sleep: Sleep is good....
Food Cravings:  none yet... but well see
Anything making you queasy or sick: Brushing my teeth. I gag and throw up every time I brush my teeth 
Symptoms: vomiting!!!! nausea!!!!
Gender Prediction: I'm finding more and more people swearing that it's going to be a boy...
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy for the most part... I think
Looking forward to: Eventually showing off a bump

12 WEEKS...


How big is the baby this week: 2 inches long, about the size of a lime. 
How far along: 12 weeks
The Bump: Is coming 
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.
Stretch Marks: I've noticed one or two... maybe three
Best moment of the week: Not feeling like i'm going to throw up.
Sleep: Sleep is good....
Food Cravings:  none yet... but well see
Anything making you queasy or sick: food, the smell of the fridge. 
Symptoms: vomiting!!!! nausea!!!!
Gender Prediction: yes.. but i'm still not saying anything, but there's a few people who say it's a girl. What's your vote? 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Had a few this last week. Poor Travis  
Looking forward to: My Doc appt on Tuesday!!!! (at least it's not the dentist!!!!

11 Weeks

How big is the baby this week: 1 1/2 inches long, about the size of a fig. 
How far along: 11 weeks
The Bump: Is trying to make my pants no longer fit. 
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.
Stretch Marks: I've noticed one
Best moment of the week: Not feeling like i'm going to throw up.
Sleep: I can sleep till i have to get up in the middle of the night and pee... 
Food Cravings:  no food cravings
Anything making you queasy or sick: sometimes milk
Symptoms: vomiting, nausea
Gender Prediction: yes.. but i'm not saying anything, but there's a few people who say it's a girl. What's your vote? 
Happy or Moody most of the time: for the most part i haven't had to big of mood swings, But you better ask my husband on that on.  
Looking forward to: the end of the first trimester, Almost there........

10 Weeks

How big is the baby this week: Barely the size of a kumquat- over an inch or so long, crown to the bottom- weighing in at less than a quarter of an ounce.
How far along: 10 weeks
The Bump: Still trying to make my pants no longer fit. 
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.( but i've been looking)
Stretch Marks: I've noticed one or two
Best moment of the week: Not feeling like i'm going to throw up.
Sleep: I've had a harder time sleeping this week
Food Cravings: not really any food cravings. Just water, i want water all the time. 
Anything making you queasy or sick: Soda. Most sodas make me sick. 
Symptoms: I've had a lot more nausea vomiting this last week. 
Gender Prediction: I'm not sure anymore. I have my hopes....  
Happy or Moody most of the time: I think happy most of the time
Looking forward to: the end of the first trimester I'm almost there... :)

Welcome to 9 weeks!

How big is the baby this week: Nearly an inch long - about the size of a great - and weighs just a fraction of an ounce.
How far along: 9 weeks
The Bump: Is trying to make my pants no longer fit. 
Maternity Clothes: Not yet.
Stretch Marks: I've noticed one
Best moment of the week: Not feeling like i'm going to throw up.
Sleep: I sleep but i have the most crazy and random dreams.
Food Cravings:  I will get see something i want and i have to have it... if that counts
Anything making you queasy or sick: food
Symptoms: Headache, slight cramps, nausea
Gender Prediction: yes.. but i'm not saying anything. 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Depends on if i don't feel well. 
Looking forward to: the end of the first trimester.

All I can say is I really hope this isn't a dream. We have waited far to long for this to finally happen.It's one of the best Valentine's present that we could receive this year. I didn't have anything that gave it away. There weren't any signs. 

I took a test on February 10, because i couldn't wait till Valentine's Day. Which i was going to test on that day but i'm too impatient.  :)  I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw that the test read positive. Like most women I took another test just to make sure, and sure enough that came out say pregnant! A year and a half of trying and it finally happened. Our family is going to grow!

So now it was time to tell Travis. But I decided to wait till Valentine's Day to actually tell him. But like I said i'm a very impatient person, so I lasted till Tuesday night. 

I told Travis in a very serious voice that we needed to talk. He had the look of "oh crap what did I do now." I put a bag on his lap and told him to open it. At first he say the candy and he was like I didn't do it. (he suppose to be losing weight). Then I told him to keep looking through the bag. That's when he started to realize what was going on. He turned to me and asked " REALLY?" I said "yep". I had made a Daddy Survival kit for him. It had some binkys, bottles, diapers, wipes, rubber gloves, masks, goggles, ear plugs, a onsie, pop and candy, a book and the test.  

We had our first Doc. appointment today. They did an ultrasound to make sure everything was going well and to double check the due date.

Our due date is October 18, 2013. We are 8 weeks 3 days and counting. I'm having very minimal morning sickness. I get nauseated in the evening and sometimes throughout the day but nothing to bad. 

Hello to all, 

It has been over a year since I have posted anything on this. My goal is get work harder at updating this. I really don't have anyone reading it but none the less it still will be fun. so over the course of this month of October I will be trying to update the blog with things that has happened over this last year and future stuff. I can promise you that it will be out of order. But at least it will be here somewhere. So watch for the up coming posts this week.
